In our journey in life we always want to progress and move up in stations (Maqaam), one step at a time. Join our book club lead by Imam Mohammed El-Farooqui where we read essential spiritual texts and discuss how to practically apply them to our daily lives.
We will start at 7:30 PM in the classroom and will have a short break in between for Maghrib prayer. Refreshments and chai will be served during the class.
Mohammed ElFarooqui has a Bachelor’s degree in Islamic Sciences from Jamia Nizamia and currently pursuing a Masters degree in Hadith at Jamia Al Azhar and Post Grad Business Management. He is also working on earning several more Ijazaat from different scholars in Mauritania, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and India. He is currently the Associate Imam and Youth Director at Maryam Islamic Center.
